The Trippen Happy collection is one of the latest Trippen developments. This platform sole made from rubber has a 8cm high heel and sewn to the upper using a thick yarn. This omits the need for solvent-based adhesive during the attachment of the sole. In addition, rubber can be recycled, is very durable and flexible. |
An innovative internal construction with extra reinforcements in the heel and a specially designed inflexible insole stabilises the sole unit, while elaborately positioned air chambers reduce the weight and guarantee, together with the material itself, excellent shock absorption. On this account the Happy collection was awarded with a Good Design Award 2009. |
