Wood

The Trippen wooden shoes bring together old-fashioned handicraft techniques with modern design. Virgin woods are moulded into sculptural forms and then combined with leather. With each new season environmental influences, moods, people and fashion are interpreted and new styles created. Each clog is not only a work of art, but also a sign of the times.

The models range from the conceptual to the anatomical. We use indigenous alder, beech and poplar timber for our wooden shoes. The nature of the design determines which wood is used. Thanks to the diverse grain of the wood each pair of wooden shoes is unique.

With this collection Trippen turns away from pure intellect and towards fashion and fun.
