How much does a boot really cost?

It depends on how it’s made, where it’s produced, and who makes it.

We decided to break down the price of our “Juice” boot.
This receipt is the result.

It’s not a marketing exercise.
It’s simply the most straightforward way to make our pricing transparent.

One thing becomes very clear from our price: a significant part remains within the company.

Why?

Because we are not a micro-brand without structure, but neither are we a giant producing low-cost outsourced goods.

We are a company with thirty years of history and international success that has never compromised on the craftsmanship of its products.
We manufacture in-house. That means skilled artisans employed all year round — not only during collection development. It means ongoing salaries, social contributions, production spaces, machinery, and management.

We produce in Germany using European materials.
This results in higher costs compared to an outsourced supply chain, but it also ensures greater control — over quality, working conditions, timelines, and quantities.

We distribute internationally, work with retail and wholesale partners, and manage global logistics.
A structure like this requires continuous investment to stay connected with all of you: transportation, communication, stores, customer service.

None of this is a hidden “extra” in the price.
It is the price.

We guarantee the same level of control, continuity, and responsibility: this receipt shows exactly that.
When you purchase a boot from Trippen, you are not paying only for leather and sole. You are supporting a European supply chain, in-house production, people who work all year round, and a structure that holds everything together.

The price is not just the cost of an object.
It is the cost of a system — the one we have built over the past 30 years together with all of you.
