Trippen  I  Leon-Emanuel-Blanck

Leon Emanuel Blanck designs clothing and objects through an ongoing dialogue between movement, material, and form.
Guided by his concept of Anfractuous Distortion, his work emerges from a three-dimensional approach that explores the tension between the human body and sculptural volume.

In this second chapter of collaboration, Trippen and Leon Emanuel Blanck once more combine their inventive minds to create a unique boot for Leon’s new LEB line, celebrating
the shared values of both labels: experimental construction, material depth, and a sombre, anti-conformist spirit.

The seam lines of the „Solstice“ boot are mirrored on the left and right shoe, however, the zipper on the right boot runs along the rear diagonal line, while the zipper on the left
shoe is located on the front diagonal line.
This creates an asymmetrical look despite the symmetrical lines.

"My design process is a conversation between the material I am constructing with, the form I am using, possible movement,
and my mind. Each part is a logical consequence in the chain of creation."
